…I’m Becca, the Director on the ‘Inside Heston’s World’ , The Heston Blumenthal show that Nadia has been doing the voiceover for.
I just wanted to send you a note to say we think she’s fabulous. Always on time, lovely to work with, super professional, patient, upbeat, took direction and we are really pleased with the end result.
I’d recommend her to anyone.

“Nadia is one of the most magnetic and compelling performers I have seen. Her vocal style is natural, unaffected and intensely charismatic.
I have witnessed her manage a wide range of musical genres effortlessly during a performance, and always bringing her own unique flavour to whatever she is singing. Drawing on her considerable commercial experience in Dance and Performance Art, I am always at ease watching Nadia on stage as she is at home in her body and voice. Go and see her; I guarantee you won’t forget her!”

Never before have I had the privilege to be taught by someone with so much knowledge, energy and talent as Nadia. From the off I felt encouraged to have confidence in my abilities whilst being given a great and proper foundation to work from. I feel my voice has improved under her instruction and certainly I now feel confident to tackle a number of different musical genres I would not have dared look at previously. Nadia takes time to listen and understand my voice and me in regard to what I want to achieve. Most importantly, I feel, is that the word ‘can’t’ does not exist in Nadia’s vocabulary and it is this belief, along with the skills she teaches to back it up, that make her a truly brilliant teacher.

My name is Jack Cryer. I am the choir leader at the Brighton Steiner School and I have known Nadia Strahan for sixteen years.
We first met on a production at The Place Theatre in London where I was employed as a singer and Nadia was on the creative team as the show’s choreographer. She displayed immense patience and creativity in teaching her steps to a company of actors who were untrained in dance and I was very keen to meet her again. I have many performer, writer and director colleagues who have also worked with her professionally and she is very well regarded not just as an extremely talented and well-trained dancer and singer but as an inspiring company member.
Several years later I was appointed the choir leader at the Brighton Steiner School and as part of my initiative to encourage the wider community to express themselves musically I formed an adult community choir. Nadia had, by this time, moved down to Brighton and she joined us. She is a delight to have in the group. She is undoubtedly gifted as a singer, quick and with a beautiful tone but she is also much more than this. She possesses huge amounts of positivity and enthusiasm and is great fun. Nadia has a wonderful attitude to the work and is keen to sing a wide range of music. There are many novice singers in the choir and, as a fellow singer, she gently encourages them and is a huge asset technically. She would never patronize them with her considerable experience choosing instead to meet them on their level and give them confidence in their own abilities.
In my daytime work with the students, who range from eleven to seventeen, if I am in need of some student support, someone who will sing along with them and help them learn the harmonies I am asking of them, Nadia is always my first call. She has a natural empathy and the students respond very positively to her. Nadia has also shown great flexibility and tact when dealing with the more self-conscious children.
I would recommend her as a vocal and dance tutor without reservation.
There are some interesting points in time in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them center to heart. There is some validity but I will take hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner as well
