Nadia Strahan
Biography
“The worst storm to hit England since 1703 took place on October 16, 1987, when gale force winds tore down 15 million trees, blocking roads and railways. Power lines were also toppled, leaving hundreds of thousands of homes without electricty for 24 hours.”
This was also the day Nadia came to London…As she has an affinity with the dramatic, it seemed rather an auspicious time to arrive…
Although born in Auckland, New Zealand of British parents, Nadia grew up in Australia where she started her initial training and early career, firstly as classical dancer who also discovered the joys of Musical Theatre. I then took the plunge and came over to the UK where I found a successful career performing in a string of hits on the West End stage, where she really found her voice, in both acting and singing. Nadia also found creative fulfillment choreographing for theatre, fashion shows and working as a Voice over Artist and Session Vocalist. She then turned her hand to TV & Film work. Nadia then chose to spend a quality few years taking on the most challenging role any woman can ever entertain, Motherhood.
Nadia runs a private vocal coaching business from her home studio in Brighton and is now a well established artist, writing and performing with a variety of bands and is co-director of ORBIS PRODUCTIONS, an immersive theatre company which has been be featured in the Brighton Fringe Festival.
